Computer-grade learning (CALL) learning that involves the use of computers)
refers to learning that involves the use of computers, usually with an
interactive computer system (hypertext / multimedia) system. The exitence of computer
is very useful for people, one of them is the student. Because they can develop
their knowlegde indirect with adding many new vocabulary in the other language.
There are many benefits of Computer –
Assisted Language Learning (CALL) :
User can come at any time and spend as long as they need to get the full
benefits of the material. They can use computer in everytime when they need.
This reason make user easier to use computer as an assited language.
2. Motivate Students
Computers have more capabilities than other media, which can encourage students
in learning the language. Sussex, Cumming & Cropp (1994) argues that
computer-based multimedia as a language tool, able to motivate students, is
flexible and provocative because computers have the ability to present material
in a way more diverse than books or videos.
3. Give Individual Attention
In this case a good program can offer individualized attention and can allow
students to work with their own rhythm. Students can work with their privacy
without fear of negative reprisals or jokes. If they learn slowly or if they
give wrong answers. Direct diagnosis can save time and eliminate students'
fatigue and be able to help them overcome their mistakes. Computers are also
very consistent in response, tirelessly working long hours.
During this time the habit of reading
is still a concern, CALL encourages users (students) to develop a consequential

information quickly and more. It also allows users to make their own decisions
to develop selective and critical reading habits so that these habits make them
able to scan information (topics that are based on their interests).
